Grapevine Lake is a US Army Corps of Engineers lake adjacent to Grapevine Texas, 20 miles northwest of Dallas. The 7,280 acre lake offers a number of recreation opportunities with 3 full service marinas including 1,400 boat slips, 30 miles of hiking, biking and equestrian trails and primitive camping, prepared camping sites, trailer / RV camping and cabins. Lake Grapevine Fishing Report from TPWD (Aug. 17)

Water stained to lightly stained; 84–87 degrees; 0.10’ high. Black bass are good on Texas rigged soft plastics, swim jigs and squarebill crankbaits. White bass and hybrid bass are good on slabs and topwaters. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.
